Outreach

We have a dedicated Outreach team which partners with local schools, nurseries and other community groups. The objective is to promote our services, and forge links within the community to develop a vibrant hub. Over the last couple of years we have participated at Mount Carmel and The Grange primary schools Summer Fairs.
Moreover we have been meeting with librarians from secondary schools to investigate how teenagers and young people could use the library for studying and to socialise.

Additionally to raise awareness of our library to a wider audience we have had a stall at the Brentford festival held in September.

We were also present at the ‘Your Voice, Your Town’ consultation held in 2024 at Ealing Broadway. At this event we met representatives from other local charities as well as members of the public. This provided a useful vehicle to promote our services.
We plan to continue to engage with local residents whatever their background and develop connections with other like-minded organisations.
